Verses of Encouragement

10:25 AM

If you're a normal Bible Bee-er, then you're probably feeling a little worn out by now. It's hard to spend most (or all) of your free time studying -- even if it's studying your absolute favorite book. If you're tired right now, and feel like quitting, then God's Word has much encouragement for you...

"When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul."
Psalm 94:19

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock."
Isaiah 26:3-4

"Our soul waits for the LORD, he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you."
Psalm 33:20-22

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary,
    and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:28-31

"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"
2 Corinthians 12:9b

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:6-7

So don't worry! Trust God to help you in these last two weeks of Bible Bee. Keep seeking the Lord! Rather than being discouraged by not knowing everything, be amazed at how much their is to learn from God's Word. We should never stop studying it, because there is always something new to learn. Let's press on to know the Lord!

  1. Thank you so much, Anna! It can become discouraging if we allow it, but we have to fight against that fetter with the Sword of the Spirit that sets us free (John 8:31-32). =) May the Lord abundantly bless your last week of studies!

Please make sure that your comment is in accordance with Colossians 4:6: "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person." I will not reply to every comment, but if you have a question or concern, I will try to get back with you.
