Meet the three contestants from this episode:

Elissa, who is from Ohio, has done the Bible Bee every single year. She says that because God's Word is living and active, it won't just stay in our heads. When we memorize and study it, it will change our lives. Elissa plays the harp.

Delie is from Tennessee. She has done the Bible Bee every year since 2012, and last year six of her siblings competed. Delie enjoys studying the Bible in her free time, and she wants to encourage people to study God's Word so that they will know Him better.

Alex, who is from New Jersey, is the oldest of seven brothers and sisters. When he's not studying for the Bible Bee, he enjoys writing historical fiction. Alex has participated in the Bible Bee six years, qualifying five of those times. He says that the Bible Bee is a great challenge, and that he wants to "learn it, speak it, and live it" everyday.
