Sign up for Bible Bee!

7:55 AM

Only one month ‘till June 1st! I just realized this the other day, and was shocked that time had flown so quickly:). It seems like I’ve been waiting for this for such a long time, and now that it’s almost here, I have a hard time believing it!
If you want to receive your materials on time, you should register by May 11. The Bible Bee has made a new promotional video. You can click here to watch it. I really like how the video emphasizes family discipleship and the Word of God.  The Bible Bee has been such a great tool in my life to draw me closer to the Lord and my family!
The Bible Bee also has another video that gives more details about the competition. It is on the same page as the other video.

Why would you encourage others to participate in the Bible Bee?

  1. Why do you sometimes put a "J" at the end of your sentences? Just wondering.

    1. Oops! I usually type up my posts on Microsoft Word, and then copy and paste it here. Sometimes, it turns my smileys into Js. Feel free to let me know if I do it again! :)

  2. Why would I encourage others to participate in the Bible Bee? Let me count the ways... ;)

    1) I find that I draw closer to the Lord during BB.

    2) It helps me stay on schedule in terms of memorizing/studying the Word.

    3) It is motivational and inspiring.

    4) I get to fellowship with fellow believes and like minded people.

    5) New friends! ;)

    6) Studying the Word with family.

    7) It's a ton of fun.

You have a really nice blog. :) I would recommend that you get ClustrMaps (to track your page views by country) and the stats gadget. When my family had a blog we used both. They are free and very fun!

    1. Hi! Thanks for commenting! I added the stats gadget, but was unable to find the ClustrMaps gadget. So far, I've had page views from the US, Greece, Germany, and Venezuela. I hope I can meet you sometime!

    1. I'm really excited for Bible Bee, too! I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but I stood next to you for the Opening Ceremony at Nationals last year. It was great meeting you!
I'm not on Facebook, so no, I don't have a Facebook page for this.

  5. Ahhh!!! Less than one month?! So excited! It would be so cool if we both made it - then we could meet.I don't know if you have heard of the BB game show, but you should do recaps on it for your blog. That would be really neat.

    1. I'd love to meet you at Nationals! I've qualified the past two years, but this will be my first year in Seniors, so we'll have to see how that goes :).
Yes, I have heard of the Bible Bee Game Show! I actually had several siblings and many good friends who competed in it! I will consider doing recaps on it. I'm pretty sure that I would need to check with SKF first. I'm looking forward to watching it in just a few weeks!

  6. I do not think that you would need to check with the SKF about writing recaps just because I know of many people who write recaps on competitions/sports, etc. However, better safe than sorry! I can't watch it (no TV!) so that's why I thought it would be cool to do recaps for those of us that can't watch. ;)
    Blessings!

    1. OK. Thanks! I'll think about it :). I haven't heard this for a fact so I don't know, but I heard something about being able to watch the shows online. My family doesn't have TV either, so I'm hoping that it is!
